4月12日vultr宣布了自己的第25个机房印度孟买数据中心正式上线，至此vultr全球数据中心的总数扩大为25个，孟买也是其位于亚洲的第四个机房，也是南亚印度洋地区的首个机房。vultr的印度机房比较起同行来说可以说是姗姗来迟，Linode早在2019年就开通了孟买机房，而DigitalOcean更是在2016年就开通了班加罗尔机房，彼时的vultr才刚刚开通新加坡机房，机房数也只有16个。更不用说亚马逊、微软、谷歌、阿里巴巴这类大型云服务商了。因此vultr此举具有重要的战略意义，对于补齐了南亚地区数据中心短板起到了关键性的作用。

 

对于国内用户来说南亚地区使用效果也不会好到哪里去的，据我们预测绕路现象肯定很严重，除非在南亚有跨境电商等商业活动需要，一般来说不建议使用该机房。
